With the Vilastic Electrorheology System, the VE  can be expanded to measure the effects of DC and AC fields on the viscoelasticity of electrorheological fluids.

The Electrorheology System consists of two parallel conducting plates separated by an insulator and forming a rectangular channel. The VE System generates a longitudinal oscillatory flow in this channel and measures the shear stress, strain and shear rate at the channel walls.

With the Electrorheology System and the measurement protocols of VMax discover the
